Focus on Plays

Standard

This week we pause from our theme stories to FOCUS ON PLAYS.  We are reading an excerpt from the play Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing by Judy Blume, adapted by Bruce Mason.  During computer time, we will take a web field trip to The Broadway Corner for Kids to read five reviews from successful Broadway plays and then test our understanding of these plays with games.

First, click on Curtain Call and read all five reports on these plays.

Second, click on Guess Quest to guess the character who is in the picture.  Your reading from the Curtain Call will help you!

Third, click on Broadway Squares to test your knowledge of the plays that you read about from the Curtain Call in step one.

Last, write at least one comment about what you liked or learned from today’s web field trip to The Broadway Corner for Kids. Remember, our email is rankinwriters@gmail.com. 🙂
