Reading and Writing About Thanksgiving

Dear Students,

I am sorry I am unable to be here to wish you a very happy Thanksgiving.  I know you will enjoy delicious food and good company with family and friends.

Today, you will complete some reading and writing tests and activities related to Thanksgiving.  At the end of each activity, you will write a comment to show off what you learned.  You may also boast about your scores if you earn 80% or higher on the quizzes. 🙂

The genre is biographical fiction.  Biographical fiction is a story containing facts about a person’s life which is based on careful research and presented in dramatic episodes that usually include fictionalized conversation.
